Challenge: Kissy-Kissy Congratulations Card

I am playing with my latest favourite digital image from TGF! This image is just soooo sweet, I can't get enough of it.

So here goes...

The damask/newsprint patterned paper is an oldie (but a goodie) from EP's For the Record by Bella Road collection.

This card is inspired by the challenges over at The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday - Message Me and Anyone for Anya - Damask Trumps Everything.

365 Cards: Day 27 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

I had a looong week. It was one of those work weeks when you need to get things done but can't seem to find your focus to deliver.  I dread times like these, so I hope the coming week is kinder.

So, here's to hoping for a fab week ahead with a new sketch for 365 Cards' Super Sketchy Sunday. Raise your hand if you're as excited as I am! ;)

And to even make it more exciting, Paper Pretties is back to sponsor the DT and, of course, a prize of 5 digis for a random player this week. Woohoo!!!

Want to see what they sent me to play with this week? It's the "Happy Bird-day" digi! Cute, right? :)

Okay, without further ado, I bring you my card... In all it's purple-ness! LOL! :)

How about some more inspiration from our Sunday Girls...? Hop along.

And then you must return to the blog to link up a card.  Follow the link.  Have a great week ahead!

Challenge: Kissy-Kissy

It's almost February, can you smell romance in the air? I DO! I DO! :)

And here's my "lovey-dovey" project fresh hot off the crafting table! LOL!

It is a wedding money holder.  The image is a digi from The Greeting Farm called Kissy-Kissy which I coloured in with Copics.  It is attached to a "belt" which holds the envelope closed.

This is how the inside looks like. I enclosed a decorated card as well for writing a message to the happy couple! :)

The paper is from EP's This & That Collection.  The dies are from MFT, the sentiment stamps are from MFT and Lili of the Valley.  Bling from KCK Crafts.

How do you like it? :)

Challenge: Happy Blessings

You'll never have enough birthday cards! So I always make sure I have some on hand at all times! :)

Here is something I made with TGF's Anya Celebrates and some EP This & That paper.  It turned out really pretty even with the not-so-girly colours I used on my card.

The bling I added in gives it some extra something, don't you think? :)

I am submitting this card to TGF's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge - Punch It! It's my second card entry, actually! LOL!

My card also fits the challenge over at the 613 Avenue Creations for Anything Goes - It's Time to Kraft.

This works for Top Tip Tuesday's Lavishly Luscious Layers challenge as well.

Leave me some love. :)

Challenge: I Love You This Big

It seems like I am on a roll...

So, I give you another Valentine's Day card featuring MFT's Pure Innocence - I Love You This Big clear stamps. :)

This card uses this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch from The Sweetest Thing blog.

How do you like that? It (sort of) matches my other Valentine's Card here

Let me know what you think... :)

365 Cards: Day 20 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

Being a card maker, I am always looking forward to the next big occasion, and we all know what the next one is right after the Christmas holidays...

Glitter Text Generator

With this week's super sketch from DT Wendi, I made a Valentines Day card!

So... here is this week's sketch to inspire you.

And here is my card for you this week!

I played with an adorable MFT Pure Innocence Stamp - Love You with All my Heart. I coloured them with Copics. I used a pink glitter gel pen for her clip and shoes but the camera didn't render the shimmer nicely, too bad. I had some Doodlebug paper, washi tape, and pearls on there, too.

Did you like that? I am sure the rest of the Sunday Girls will have something for you to "oooh" and "aaah" over as well...  Visit their blogs!

After that wonderful parade of cards, you should definitely hit the crafting table and make a card to link to the 365 Cards Challenge Blog! We'd love to see what you come up with! :)

Have a great week ahead, 365ers! :)

Challenge: Birthday Wishes for a Boy

I am playing along in this week's Seize the Birthday Challenge. The challenge is to make a Masculine Birthday Card using this sketch.

I missed the first live challenge last week which is sad, but I am back with a really nice project to share... And here it goes...

I thought out of the box by re-arranging the elements of the challenge sketch.  And I think it really worked here! Lucky me! :)

I used an adorable The Greeting Farm image from the OA-Just For You rubber stamp set. I paper pieced  Oliver's bonnet and inside shirt.  The rest of the image I coloured with my Copics.  I mixed and matched sentiments from PTI and the sentiment that came with my TGF image.

The papers were sent by my crafty friend Stacy H-W! They were perfect for this project! :)  The shapes were cut with MFT dies.

I punched holes and added brads on the corners of the rectangular piece of paper for some added detail.

So, what do you think?

My project also fits this week's Farm Fresh Friday - Punch It challenge over at the Splendid Stamping blog.

365 Cards: Day 13 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

How's everybody's new year coming along...?

Hubby and I are finally back in Singapore.  The Manila vacation took longer than originally planned. It was a good break from the hustle and bustle of work life here in Singapore.  And it is always warm and wonderful being around family and close friends.

Here are a few snaps of our Manila Christmas holiday.

And as all good things must come to an end... A new challenge awaits...

Here is this week's 365 Cards Super Sketch Sunday challenge just for you our dearest 365ers!  This week's sketch is from DT Wendi Robinson, our in-house sketch designer.

I made the sketch my own by shifting the orientation of the sketch (from landscape to portrait).  And instead of using an embellishment for the clouds on the sketch, I cut my designer paper for a specific section of the paper to appear in its place.

The papers I used on my card are from Heidi Grace Designs Daydream Collection. The stamps is from The Greeting Farm - OA - Just for You rubber stamps set which I coloured in with Copics and then fussy cut. The sentiment is from the same set as well. Yes, those are washi tapes! :) I layered two different designs in the shade of pink. The heart is punched out of a Carl Craft punch.

What do you think of my card? It should do for a birthday card, or a Valentine's Day card, don't you think?

Now, if you want to see what the rest of the Sunday Girls came up with Wendi's sketch, just hop on...

After that, head on over to the SSS Blog Post to find Mr. Link waiting to take your challenge card. :)  We look forward to seeing what you come up with! :)

I found a new challenge blog to share my creative works with. It's the 613 Avenue Create blog.  They are doing Challenge # 2 already, and it is anything goes.  I am submitting my card to their challenge this week.

My card fits the "Love is in the Air" challenge over at the Penny Black and More blog as well.

365 Cards: Day 6 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

Can you believe it, we're already a week into 2013! Wow! How's everybody holding up with their New Year's resolution?  I didn't make any this year, but I do have high hopes for this year...

Let me welcome you back with a fantastic sketch from the 365 Cards Challenge Super Sketchy Sunday.

365 Cards

Are you ready for DT Wendi Robinson's sketch for you this week? Okay, here it goes...

I made "bookmark cards" using this week's sketch.  And the papers from the Webster's Pages Petite Papers - Sunday Picnic & Everyday Poetry are just perfect for them!

I made two of these bookmark cards.  Here is the first one...

You are one of my Favorite Things

Wishing You the Sweetest Things

I decorated the back of the bookmark cards as well using the reverse side of the designer paper, the side with the "big design".  And stamped a short and sweet sentiment on there, too.  Keeps it pretty inserted between the pages of a good book. :)

Do you want to see these bookmark cards in action?  Here you go...

How do you like that? :)

You want to see more? I am sure the rest of the Sunday girls got that covered.

After all that sketchy goodness, we hope you'll link up a project to show us your own take on the sketch. We can't wait to see what you all come up with! :)

Have a fantastic week ahead!
